Most of our studio are big fans of athletics and the Olympics so it was a real honour to win the opportunity to work with the Elite Athletes Association. We have worked on a number of projects in the last decade but the most recent is the development of ‘Athletes Connect’, a system designed to help elite athletes connect with a wider network.

We won the pitch to develop a fantastic resource for the Elite Athletes association. Athletes Connect is a service to help elite athletes connect with a wider network. We pitched three solutions to the EAA and this was the final choice.

A complex system needed a bespoke solution.

The concept of Athletes Connect is to provide elite athletes with a system that connects them to a wider support network. It collates many crucial support services and opportunities in one easy to use system so the athletes can focus their time on training and competing. This was a high profile job that needed to deliver on a number of visual and technical aspects.

Website

The technical side of this project provided the most demanding elements that needed resolving. We designed and built a bespoke system that needed to integrate with the database of the Elite Athletes Association. Athletes and outside organisations alike needed to be able to register into the system. It was a complicated build with a lot of unique functionality and features required. Nothing like this exists so we had to build a fully bespoke solution instead of adapting an off the shelf product.
