We initially pitched against 12 other agencies for this large scale re-design and development project for the long established British mower manufacturer Hayter back in 2012.
Subsequent work has included a site wide refresh of the front end website, a number of lifestyle photography shoots, as well as continued development to the behind-the-scenes systems that we created to work in conjunction with their extensive back office system.
The original Hayter site brief was made up of 2 parts.
A totally new approach to their dated front end site, as well as a back end system that needed to integrate with their complex accounting system.
We developed a particularly complex bespoke system that allowed Hayter to set up a huge range of different promotions with just a few clicks.
(Site wide discounts, individual product discounts, free accessories with some products, promotional code application and all the associated tracking).
As well as full control of the extensive content, the additional facilities we developed for the Hayter back office include; the web sales system which allows online orders to be advanced through dealer allocation and delivery; a promotional code management system; and a product handbook management upload function and a multi level dealer locator system.
